2012 Presentation Schedule
I am pleased to present my 2012 schedule of four day residential intensives, workshops, keynote lectures, and book signings — including PantheaCon, the SPARKS Symposium in Southern Ontario, and the Sisterhood of Avalon 2012 Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites in Ireland.
Why a Sisterhood of Avalon?
While we know that both men and women could serve their communities as Druids, it appears that there also existed groups of women who dwelt apart from Celtic society, yet who, nonetheless, served their people. These women were famous for their healing arts, divinitory skills, the ability to shape shift and control the weather, as well as for tending sacred precincts and being learned in the sciences, mathematics, language, and music.
