Pilgrimage to the Motherland
A Journey through the Sacred Landscapes of the Avalonian Tradition
Presented by the Sisterhood of Avalon
Facilitated by Jhenah Telyndru
June 25 to July 6, 2006

The first Sisterhood of Avalon pilgrimage to Wales will be taking place from Sunday June 25 to Thursday July 6, 2006. It is open to all members of the Sisterhood of Avalon; and to other women, aged 18 and over, who are interested in the Avalonian path.

On this eleven-day pilgrimage, we will explore both inner and outer landscapes as we balance conscious sightseeing with ritual, Imram and Avalonian workshops. We will spend eight days in Wales, visiting sites associated in literature and ancient folk memory with Ceridwen, Blodeuwedd, Rhiannon, Arianrhod and Branwen, and immersing ourselves in the energies of the sacred landscapes of the Avalonian Tradition; and we will then travel to Glastonbury, Avalon of old, where we will spend the final three days of the pilgrimage visiting this “holiest erthe in Englande.”

We will spend time in experiential workshops, sharing in ritual amidst the sacred landscapes, drumming and chanting, and immersing ourselves in the spiritual energies of sites associated with the Goddesses of Avalon and the priestesses of old who are our foremothers.

Pilgrimage Costs:

$1900 if paid in full by April 1, 2006
$2000 if paid in full by May 1, 2006
$2100 if paid in full anytime after May 1, 2006

Price covers all workshops and visits to sites; accommodation and full board (with the exception of a few meals while on the road); and ground transportation, including pick-up and drop-off at London’s Heathrow Airport on the first and last days of the trip.

Not included: airfare or other transportation from your starting point to London Heathrow; and trip and medical insurance.
