My perspective on tarot is that it is a divinatory tool which can bring insight into our life path, and is an ally of growth and transformation. I do not engage in fortune telling or embrace the idea that the future is an unalterable destination that is written in stone. Rather, I believe that the tarot can provide us with an understanding of the energetic patterns at work in our lives, and its guidance can empower us to to affect deep and lasting change.
I see the tarot as a symbolic language through which the Universe, the Divine, and our personal unconscious wisdoms can communicate with us. Each of the 78 cards of the tarot represents an aspect of the soul’s journey to wholeness; depicting an interplay of light and shadow, and catalyzing a dance of growth and challenge. These powerful archetypes express deep truths and serve as containers for multilayered energies. Through the mechanisms of synchronicity and the blessings of Sight, they are able to provide us with divinely inspired guidance and sacred understanding.

I have been working with tarot for over thirty years, and have been a professional tarot counselor for more than two decades. Together with artist Emily Brunner, I created The Avalonian Oracle, a 46 card deck and book set published by Schiffer Books in 2016. This divinatory system draws from the rich symbol set that underscores the Avalonian Tradition, and is informed by my relationship with the traditional tarot. I have also studied astrology with several teachers over the years, including the Academy of AstroPsychology.

My offerings include transpersonal tarot counseling sessions, ritual oracular workings, life path readings, deep Shadow work, engagement with the Avalonian Cycle of Healing, and archetypal dream interpretation. I specialize in collaborating with clients to create unique reading spreads tailored to their individual needs and concerns.
I am pleased to offer distance sessions, which can be conducted either online through video chat or by telephone. Copies of your video session can be provided on request.
If you are in or near the Ithaca, New York area, we can arrange for an in-person session.
You can also book me to read for groups of five or more people, plus the host; everyone receives a private reading, and the host’s session is free. Group readings are perfect for Holy Day celebrations, family gatherings, day festivals, spa parties, bridal showers, birthdays, banquets, corporate fundraisers – the possibilities are endless.
